Alfred V Saulo, AIA has been a licensed registered architect in New York since 1986, New Jersey since 1987, NCARB Certified since 1991 and continuously active member of the AIA since 1989. Prior to establishing the multi-discipline design firm of Alfred V Saulo, Architects PC in 1996, Mr. Saulo was partner-in-charge of business development with the SI Design firm of Architects Consortium PC from 1987 to 1996. There he served as past president and NYS Director of the Staten Island Chapter of the AIA, and SI representative to the Building Industry Advisory Council of New York City. Currently a member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce of Staten Island and current co-chair the Chamber’s annual Building Awards Committee. In addition to professional affiliations, Hr. Saulo also serves as VP and president elect on the Parish Council for OLSS RC Church in Huguenot, SI. He has also served on various NYC Codes and Zoning Committees, including an expert witness in matters relating to Building Codes and Multiple Dwelling Laws. Projects range from adaptive re-use of Historic NYC Landmarks, Site sensitive Master Plan for multi-unit residential projects in SI, Bklyn, Multi-faceted Italian Cultural center in Midtown Manhattan. At the present time he is responsible for numerous design projects in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and most recently in Italy.

Alvaro Sanchez, Junior Architect / Senior Project Manager
Diego Sanchez, Senior Project Designer / Information Technology Manager
Diego Sanchez has been with the firm since 2000. He studied in the Staten Island City University of New York campus received his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology minored in Computer Science, Business Finance. During his time in the firm he has worked on various projects ranging from residential to commercial, he has contributed to the firm’s expansion in the development of the firms website, as well as CGI designs from the actual operation of a space to the impact on daily living , and maintenance of data libraries. He has developed a unique expertise and talent in 3D visualization, he brings his considerable skills in computer technology, creative style and talent to various projects from concept to construction. Diego has been a key design collaborator on a number of projects throughout the New York area including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. For over 14 years, Diego has been an indispensible asset and integral member of the project team. Current visionary work includes a new multi-level theater in Midtown Manhattan, new commercial centers throughout New York City and numerous individual and multi-unit residential projects, renovated and retrofitted community structures and historic preservation projects throughout the New York metropolitan area and abroad.
Vanessa Saulo, Administrative Assistant , Registered Expeditor
Vanessa Saulo joined the firm in 2008 and has brought her expertise in and administrative skills, having worked as an independent NYC Registered Expeditor since 2006. In addition to Office Administrator, responsible for project control and administration, contract writing, client liaison and bookkeeping, she is registered with numerous city agencies including the NYC Dept. of Buildings, FDNY, DOT, DEP, ECB and others. She is an expert in General Contractor's GC permit registration requirements for most city agencies including the DOB, DOT, DEP. In addition to permits and Certificates of Occupancy duties, she has successfully represented clients and mitigated or dismissed numerous ECB violations at hearings throughout NYC often saving thousands of dollars in potential fines and violations.
Alvaro Sanchez has been with the firm since 1997. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, he studied Architecture and Engineering Technology at the Staten Island campus of City University of New York. His responsibilities and talents include project management and over site for numerous projects at any given time, including the integration of unique and challenging design solutions for projects in various Special Purpose Districts, Historic Districts, and applying complex code restrictions for numerous projects in and around NYC. Previous projects include a number of adaptive re-use and preservation projects in the Special Green Point Historic District and the Special Williamsburg Mixed-Use districts in Brooklyn, multi-unit residence, single-family residential project in the Special Hillside Preservation District in Staten Island and residential conversions in the Special Rutherford Historic District in Manhattan, NY. Current projects include the design of a new multi-unit residential project in Italy, a multi-level, roof-top center for Italian history and culture in midtown Manhattan and he is also responsible for the day to day technical challenges on a multitude of projects in various stages of completion. From concept to construction oversight, Mr. Sanchez, is the project manager responsible for the technical design challenges for each project. From concept to conclusion, Mr. Sanchez is assigned the task of utilizing his technical expertise for developing creative and functional solutions inherent in each project.
